Evening    –   Go to Darkhana Jamatkhana (Burnaby) and then for dinner

10:00 am   –   Leave for Whistler, BC. Picnic lunch and area stroll
6:00 pm     –   Return to the hotel

  • Currently, the hotel website has not yet been programmed to show our negotitated rates when you go to book directly on their site. They appear to have some issue with this - so for now, please call the hotel and book your room using booking code AKHS-65. 
  • Please book early to get the best room choices – the early bird always catches the worm.

The total cost for all the Reunion activities (starting Friday lunchtime to Monday lunchtime, including the Banquet – excluding the cost of the hotel and breakfast) will be Can $200.00 per person (Can $400 per couple)

Seating for the Banquet on Sunday, August 2, 2015 will be allocated in the order of registration – so the earlier you register, the better your chances of getting a choice table at the Banquet.

BANQUET
(Sunday August 2, 2015 at 7:30 p.m.)
 
 
We will end our final night together with a grand Banquet – Jambo Band will entertain us with English, Hindi & Swahili songs and you will get a chance to show off all those moves that you have learnt over the past 50 years since Mombasa AKHS days!

I recall Parvin Karsan (Rahemtulla) and Nazim Panju showing off their Cha-cha-cha skills in Mombasa – maybe we can ask them to show us how they have improved since then!

Banquet registration starts immediately for classmates and their spouses – you will be registered as soon as your completed Registration Form and check for the Program fee of Can $200.00 per person is received by Nazim.
The Banquet hall can accommodate 200 folks comfortably. The plan is to accommodate all our classmates (AKHS 1965) and their spouses/partners who wish to attend. On April 1, 2015 we plan to open the invitation to our Banquet to all former AKHS students and their spouses.
 
Please do not delay your registration – we expect a sold out Banquet once it is opened to all former AKHS students and their spouses. After March 31, 2015, we may not be able to guarantee you a spot at the Banquet – so please register early and avoid any disappointment.
